Cross-Country Skiing along the Wilder Kaiser
The soft hills at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser are perfect for cross-country skiing. Within the sunny plateaus of the four villages Going, Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll both beginners and pros can enjoy the perfectly prepared runs. The region Wilder Kaiser offers over 70 km of prepared cross-country skiing runs.
Ellmauer Kaiser Cross-Country Skiing Run
The Ellmauer Kaiser run is running parallel to a picturesque winter hiking trail with spectacular view of the Kaiser mountain massif. The perfect entrance point into the cross-country safari can be found in Going at the Blattl run, the Sunnseit run in Söll or the Sonnen run in Scheffau as well.
Night Run Scheffau
In Scheffau, there is a special cross-country skiing attraction: the 1,2 km long night run Scheffau is artifically snowed an lit until 9.30 pm. It is also the perfect connection towards Söll or Ellmau.
